“We can tell you that we know that we know with serious concern about the ongoing Israeli airstrikes that took place today,” UN spokesman Stephen Dujaric told reporters at a press conference Wednesday.
“One of the attacks, Israeli airstrikes today, have come very close to the UN facility, which is clearly a concern for us.”
Emphasizing the halt of all military operations between the Israeli regime and Yemen, Dujalirik urged all aspects to respect international humanitarian law and called for “all evasion to do everything to escalate tensions in areas where tensions are already very highly escalated.”
The statement came after at least 35 people were killed and more than 130 were injured. An Israeli fighter plane was injured on Wednesday at a medical facility at the central bank headquarters on 60th Avenue southwest of the capital Sanaa after launching a wave of air strikes at the government complex of JAWF in the Al-Hazm capital.
An unnamed senior Yemeni source who revealed to Al Mayaden’s television news channel that Israel’s strike targeted the media outlet and the headquarters of the Al-Yemen newspaper on September 26, injuring several journalists.
The unconventional raid came less than two weeks after the Yemeni air attack on August 28th killed Yemeni Ahmed Galeb Nasser al-Rahawy and several other ministers.
The Yemeni army has clearly stated that they will continue their operations until October 2023, until the end of the war of massacre in Gaza, in which the Zionist regime killed at least 64,656 Palestinians (mostly women and children).
