The representative from the Tehran -Iran parliament met Igor Calpenco, chairman of the Belarus Central Election Committee, and discussed the election process and the two countries.
The conference was held as part of the Iranian representative visiting Belarus as an international observer of the national presidential election.
Ali Asgal Bagheradda and Ali Kesha Valgi, the chairman and vice -chair of the Iran Belals Congress, led the Iranian delegation. Bagherzadeh emphasized the strengthened relationship between Iran and Belarus, and said that Iran’s existence in the election monitoring process reflects the deepening relationship between the two countries.
“The participation of 480 international observers in the election shows Belarusi’s commitment to transparency,” said Bagherda Dade. He also praised the high turnout of voters and explained it as a strong sign of the people’s support for the Belarus.
Keshavalji pointed out the important differences in the election system between Iran and Belarus, and Belarus has all the elections in one day while permitting early voting. He praised high -level organizations at polling places and emphasized that a wide range of public participation plays an important role in national development.
According to concerns about international awareness of the results of the election, Keshavalgi said, “The western countries have refused to allow Belarus, but all independent nations have the free sovereign election without external interference. I have the right to do it. ”
On his side, Calpenko is called an important step to welcome Iran’s participation in election monitoring and expand the cooperation of the two countries. “This is the first time that Iranian Islamic representatives have observed the presidential election in Belarus,” he said. “It marks important new chapters in our relationship and strengthen our cooperation in monitoring international elections.”
