The company said cumulative gas production in stage 11 of the southern Iranian gas giants has risen from 120 billion cubic feet to 357 billion cubic feet since early August 2024, showing a triple increase.
Pars Oil and Gas Company made the presentation Wednesday at the end of the 22nd meeting of the Joint Management Committee for the South Pars Phase 11 Development Project.
Hamidreza Saqafi, CEO of Petropars Company, also attended the meeting. He said the construction of the second wellhead jacket for Phase 11 is in its final stage, adding that preparations are underway to begin loading the operation of this offshore structure in the coming days.
The Southpurs gas field, as Iran’s energy hub, enjoys a variety of valuable resources for the economy and now serves as the largest industrial development centre in the Islamic Republic.
In addition to meeting domestic gas demand, the hub earns hundreds of billions of dollars a year, each year by building sustainable jobs for hundreds of thousands of people.
