According to the Pars Oil and Gas Company, the 21st meeting of the Joint Management Committee for the Development of South Pars Phase 11 took place on Monday with the attendance of Touraj Dehqani, CEO of Pars Oil and Gas Company. Hamidreza Saqafi, CEO of Petropars. Member of the Joint Management Committee. The meeting reviewed the latest extraction and development status of Phase 11 in the first and second phases, as well as important topics such as:

– Scheduling the loading and installation of the SPD11A well head jacket
– Drilling rigs and equipment procurement
-Building the second deck of SPD11a
– Projection of final completion of the project
Dehghani highlighted the need for regular meetings between Petropars (the main contractor) and subcontractors, including offshore facility manufacturers. He said, “The precise identification of operational bottlenecks and the timely resolution of those through allocation of financial resources are key to strengthening subcontractors.”
Saghafi reported overall progress at the initial development phase of Phase 11 was 41%. Regarding the SPD11A’s wellhead jacket, he said that less than 35% of construction completed at the start of the 14th administration is now concluded. Pending logistics and support arrangements will be loaded and installed in the Persian Gulf within next month.
Reports from the conference confirmed that development and production in Phase 11 will continue simultaneously. Gas extraction increased from 12 million cubic meters per day (early in the 14th administration) in August 2024 to 20 million cubic meters per day. This is an increase of 60%.
Cumulative gas extraction from Phase 11, which stood at 3.4 billion cubic meters (120 billion cubic feet of raw gas) before the 14th management, now reaching 8.5 billion cubic meters (300 billion cubic feet), reaching a growth rate of 60%, driving daily production. This surge plays a key role in managing the country’s energy balance.
