The Tehran Times partnered with the Pakistani Embassy in Tehran to create a special edition on various aspects of Iran-Pakistan ties and historically heartfelt relationships.
Iran was one of the first countries to recognize Pakistan’s sovereignty after independence in August 1947. For decades, the two countries have enjoyed mostly wrong relationships, and have come close in recent years.
The Tehran Times Special issue, released on Sunday, begins with a historic overview and delves into details of political, defence and economic connections.
It also features not only Pakistani heritage and natural attractions, but also stories of interaction between people. The report also touches on some of the diverse activities of the Pakistani Embassy in Iran.
