Kazem Gharibabadi wrote on the personal page of X Social Networks, “I had a candid and constructive conversation with the Director of the International Atomic Energy Agency.”
During the meeting, Iran and agency cooperation, resolution of two open issues, safety of nuclear facilities, and the latest developments surrounding nuclear issues and lifting sanctions were discussed and exchanged.
The Deputy Iranian Minister said, “Iran and the institutions have a long history of cooperation that allows them to resolve some existing differences if external political pressure on the institutions ends and if the institutions adopt an independent, technical, fair and professional approach.”
“Iran is committed to working with the agency within the framework of safeguards, while protecting its security measures and national interests,” Galliabadi further wrote in his post.
On Monday morning, Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesman Esmaeir Bagihai announced that Galibabadi would travel to Vienna to discuss with Ayea officials.
