Subsidiaries of NIOC and operational units across the country remain frequently active 24 hours a day to ensure ongoing oil production, shelter and prevent or deal with potential damage, the company said.
The NIOC said its top passive defense and crisis management committee is holding regular meetings to assess the current situation and coordinate operational plans for future measures. Chaired by NIOC Head Hamid Bobard, these sessions are held at the highest level and tailored to the evolving security environment.
The company emphasized that staff and executives across the oil sector are working together with a national obligation and a sense of urgency to maintain production and provide services without interruption.
The Iranian oil industry, the cornerstone of the national economy, burns other economic sectors directly and indirectly. Daily crude oil production for exports for fuel processing and delivery to domestic refineries is underway without delay or disruption, NIOC said.
