In his speech, “Kasem praised the massive vote at the first commemoration marking the martial anniversary of former secretary General Syed Nasrara and Syed Safiedin.
“Your body has left this world, but your soul continues to inspire you, as it is a guide for your leader,” the Hezbollah leader further said.
“You raised the flag of resistance and planted Palestinian love in our hearts. This is the species that grew into a constant, rebellious resistance and opened up an era of victory.”
“I worked with Nasrara, a martial artist, for 30 years, and now I say we keep our promises,” Qassem said.
“We are stuck with our promises and ready to be martyrs. We will not leave the battlefield and we will not throw away our weapons,” he said.
Qasem later said that Hezbollah’s fighters fought a massive war with Israel last year, adding, “After Israel’s attacks last year, Hezbollah quickly recovered and the regime was forced to stop the war.”
He continued to say, “Israel launched World War I against resistance last year without restrictions.”
The Lebanese resistance leader also said, “The United States is trying to achieve what Israel could not do through the push for resistance and disarmament.”
Qassem concluded, “Disarming resistance means Lebanon stripping its power and handing over Israel’s victory.”
