TEHRAN – The Israeli regime has killed 8-year-old gymnast Tara Hajimiri, whose dream of athletic glory disappeared when a Tel Aviv missile hit a residential area in Iran’s capital.
Her story has become a burning symbol of the Israeli regime’s systematic campaign to kill children, just as she pursued the same vicious attacks in Gaza, the West Bank, Lebanon and Yemen.
Tara Hajimiri’s death is not an isolated tragedy, but part of a horrifying pattern that emerged from Israel’s invasion of Iran’s territory that began early on Friday.
According to Iran’s Ministry of Health, these Israeli attacks have marched over 224 citizens, injured more than 1,277 people, and women and children are among the most severe victims.
Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghhai announced on Monday that “the Israeli regime killed a considerable number of Iranian children during a military invasion.”
Baghaei Alao cited the shocking entrance of former Israeli deputy chief of staff, Yair Golan. “Killing a child seems like entertainment.”
