Said Katibzadeh, deputy foreign minister of Iran’s Foreign Ministry and head of Iran’s Center for International Politics and International Studies, said the European Troika (France, UK and Germany) has not adhered to their commitments.
Speaking to Russian media on Friday, Khatibzadeh said E3 always states that if Iran reaches an agreement with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), it will respect and implement it.
But they once again showed that they would be held back by their own inaction and would greatly politicize any moves by Iran, he added.
Referring to the signing of the Iranian-Iare agreement in Cairo, he said that IAEA Director Rafael Grossi expressed satisfaction and reported it to the IAEA.
After this agreement, we saw nothing from the Europeans, but fault discoveries and further missteps were seen, he said.
Although Iran is still committed to diplomacy, he stressed that Tehran’s future actions will be entirely dependent on decisions from other parties regarding the rechallenge of sanctions.
