Speaking at the Economic Co-operation Organization (ECO)’s 4th Home Ministers’ Meeting, Asad Majeed Khan underlined the importance attached by all members of the organization to strengthening data exchange and regional cooperation on the use of cutting-edge technologies.
The Prime Minister took the opportunity to express his gratitude to the Iranian Minister of Interior for his cooperation with the ECO Secretariat, which shows the interest of regional countries in establishing law and order and preventing organized crime.
Majeed Khan highlighted that fighting crime using artificial intelligence (AI), developing border control and security mechanisms, and cooperation with the United Nations and its related agencies were among the main topics discussed at the summit.
The 4th Interior Ministers’ Meeting of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) entitled “Regional Solidarity, Security and Sustainable Development” was held at the Islamic Summit Conference Center (Iran International Conference Center) in the presence of Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian.
