During Vice President for Administration Mohammad Jafar Gampana’s visit to an exhibition displaying Iran’s nuclear achievements, Eslami spoke to reporters about the purpose of keeping these achievements on permanent display.
Mr. Eslami stressed that the main purpose of consistently presenting these achievements is to counter hostile propaganda that has been distorting public opinion regarding Iran’s nuclear program through unsubstantiated claims for many years.
He emphasized that the most effective way to challenge this narrative is through concrete demonstrations of progress and practical actions that emphasize the peaceful nature of Iran’s nuclear efforts.
Mr. Eslami outlined the key strategic priorities of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) and pointed out several focus areas, including combating water scarcity, addressing soil salinity, reducing vulnerability to agricultural pests, and ensuring food safety and security alongside energy supply.
“Our adversaries do not want Iran to have a presence in the nuclear industry, but despite all opposition, we are at the forefront of this field,” he added.
Mr. Eslami also mentioned long-term cooperation agreements with foreign countries, including Russia, including arrangements for the construction of eight nuclear power plants in Iran.
He said these cooperations are important for the transfer of modern technology and strengthening the country’s industrial and technological infrastructure, adding that such projects could play an important role in Iran’s economic growth and development.
