TEHRAN – An Iranian source told the Tehran Times that Iran will notify the US 12 hours before the strike at Al-Udaid Air Force Base on June 23, and that it intends to target our facilities in the region.
Sources said no specific base was named in the warning.
“After our warning, they evacuated bases in West Asia out of fear,” the source added.
On June 23, Iran launched a barrage of 14 ballistic missiles at Al-Udaid Air Force Base in Doha, Washington’s largest military base, deploying as many warheads as the US had attacked at Iran’s nuclear sites two days ago.
US President Donald Trump claimed that 13 projectiles were intercepted and one landed harmlessly in an open area.
Despite these claims, footage taken by Qatar residents from afar showed multiple missiles struck the ground.
Iranian officials remained silent until when Ali Larijani, a senior adviser to the leader of the Islamic Revolution, admitted an interview to elaborate on the operation. He said six missiles attacked the base directly.
