According to Mehr news agency, President Pezeshikian stressed in a meeting with economic activists in western Azarbaijan province on Thursday that the country’s problems have been developing for many years and cannot be solved overnight. However, he said his administration is determined to remove existing obstacles and create favorable conditions for production and export growth.
He said the government is holding regular meetings with entrepreneurs and chambers of commerce, including weekly meetings with investors in the petrochemical, oil and export sectors, to monitor progress and follow up on results.
Referring to recent meetings with business leaders in Tehran, Foreign Minister Pezeshkian said: “We hold monthly meetings with chambers of industry and entrepreneurs. On Tuesday, we met with the Iranian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and separate meetings with different business sectors are also being held.”
He noted that responsibilities are divided among relevant agencies and ministries, with each group tasked with identifying challenges. “Concerned ministers have been instructed to meet with departments and find a practical solution within one month.”
He concluded by reaffirming that “the path to overcoming sanctions lies in strengthening production and expanding exports.”
