Tehran – The 16th Farabi International Prize (FIA), the most prestigious award for humanities and Islamic studies in the Islamic world, is bound by the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, in cooperation with the National Elite Foundation and the UNESCO National Committee.
The FIA aims to identify talent, best scientific works, theories, new methods and research in the fields of humanities and Islamic research, Isna reported.
Participants will present their research in areas such as “ethics, religion, mysticism.” “History, Geography, Archaeology”; “Law”; “Language, Literature, Linguistics”; “Social Sciences and Communication Sciences”; “Economics, Management, Financial Sciences.” “Educational Science, Psychology, Behavioral Science, Sports Science.” “Political Science, International Relations, Regional Studies.” “Quran science, interpretation, hadith.” “Law and Principles”; “Philosophy, Logic, Theology”; “Theoretical Research of Information Technology, Informatics, and Librarians.” “The Islamic Revolution and the Study of Imam Khomeini”, “Study of Arts and Aesthetics”, “Interdisciplinary Research”, “Islamic Humanities Committee (Article).”
Participants can share their works from March 10th to April 30th. Both innovative and research-based works are accepted, reviewed, evaluated, selected and respected in awards.
The event will introduce awards for book categories, final research project reports, doctoral thesis, master’s thesis, and research articles (just the Islamic humanities).
The award receives, reviews, selects works at two young people (under 35 years old) and adult levels, covering both domestic and foreign regions from a territorial perspective. When national regions are involved, all works produced by Iranians are considered, regardless of current location or occupation.
