TEHRAN – Maedi Nasseri, the governor of Fariman County, Kolasan Razabi, welcomed the governor’s proposal on launching an industrial tour in Fariman, calling it an important opportunity to improve the entrepreneurship and economic development in the region.
He told Isna that Fariman is known as a city with high industrial capabilities. The presence of exemplary industrial units in the area indicates that it is likely to portray tourists and entrepreneurs.
Fariman has an exemplary industrial unit that continues to work in the current situation and in the 12-day Israeli war with Iran, he said.
Transferring the know-how of these units can inspire investors, university graduates, and young people interested in industry and entrepreneurship, he added.
With its favourable geographic and climatic coordinates, it says Fariman County is attracting attention from domestic and foreign investors. In particular, the development of Kabia’s large industrial park has transformed the city into one of the state’s key industrial centers in the presence of non-indigenous entrepreneurs and knowledge-based companies.
He said that around 210 industrial units run in Fariman, located in three industrial cities of Farima and Kabian, Matab. One of Fariman’s unique features is that it is along the way to the two western Asian corridors, along with freight transport to Central Asian countries and Afghanistan, he pointed out.
The existence of the industrial town has been introduced by Fariman as the third industrial hub in Holasan Razabi, he said, adding that these industrial capabilities and infrastructure created an appropriate foundation for hosting industrial tours.
Naseri continued that industrial tours could be a good opportunity for young people and those interested in the industry to learn about production activities and industrial processes. He said: “These tours will not only help introduce industrial units and their capabilities, but they will also attract new investors and lead to sustainable development in Fariman County.”
Governor Fariman emphasized that it is possible to achieve the success of industrial tourism tours in Fariman with the cooperation of all institutions and organizations, adding:
Faiman, a county with a population of 104,000, consists of two districts: the Central District and Karandarabad, four cities and 150 villages. It is located 77 km southeast of Mashhad.
