Mashhad – The International Conference on “Israel State Terrorism” was convened by the Habilia Association to bring together experts from Iran, Italy, Argentina and Pakistan to mark the day of the fight against Iranian terrorism. The conference provided a platform for multifaceted criticism of Israeli policy and international support.
The event featured an analysis of international law, media representation, geopolitical responses, and general double standards in the definition of terrorism. The speaker unanimously argued that Israel’s actions against Palestine, Lebanon and Iran constitute a form of terrorism sponsored by states often protected from accountability by haughty Western countries.
The meeting began with a speech by Seyed Mohammad Javad Hasheminehad, Executive Director of the Habilia Association. In his opening remarks, he honored the memories of the martian nuclear scientists, the innocent women and children who were victims of the June attacks by the Zionist regime of Iran, as well as all the assassins of the country.
Subsequently, Dr. Seyed Hossain Musabifer, assistant professor of international law at Feldousi University in Mashhad, provided an accurate legal analysis of the actions of the Zionist regime against Gaza and Iran. Citing the principles of international law, he described these actions as clear examples of blatant violations of fundamental principles such as proportionality and distinction in the use of military force.
Second, Giulio Chinnapi, Italian geopolitical analyst and editor-in-chief of the “World Politics” blog website, analyzed the status of Western and Arab government occupations on Zionist regime attacks on Iran, Gaza and Lebanon. He stated that the fact that the Zionist regime is not liable for its crimes stems from the geopolitical alliances and strategic interests of major powers.
Additionally, as the next speaker, Ursula Asta, a well-known Argentine journalist and member of Radiographa’s editorial board, considered the role of mainstream Western media. She says these media have become psychological tools of war by systematically justifying the actions of Zionist regimes and treating their victims inhumanely. Ursula Asta then presented a strategy to counter this one-sided narrative and provide a more balanced picture with global public opinion.
Finally, Muhammad Murtaza, Pakistani geopolitical analyst and senior researcher at the Pak Institute for Peace Studies, addressed the issue of Western double standards in labeling terrorism. He raised the basic question: Why are similar or more serious actions by the Zionist regime justified under the framework of “self-defense” when violent actions of non-state groups were labeled as terrorism?
Murtaza cited the role of Zionist lobby in shaping Western foreign policy as an important factor in creating this double standard.
The Habilia Association said the purpose of holding the conference was to create an intellectual front that is more cohesive among experts and researchers to create international solidarity and counter the state terrorism of the Zionist regime and its supporters. It has been announced that the full video and speech text from the meeting will be released soon.
