Finland’s Foreign Minister Erina Valtton (NCP) said Finland would request Israel to explain the “serious and condemnable incident.”
It also raised Finland’s concerns about the ambassador and the humanitarian situation in Gaza, according to the ministry.
Several other European countries condemned the incident on Thursday, with Italy and France summoning Israeli ambassadors to explain what happened, Reuters reported.
On Wednesday, Israeli army soldiers fired fire with a delegation of 30 Arab and European ambassadors and diplomats during their visit to Jenin camp.
The delegation traveled to Jenin to learn about the humanitarian situation and the devastating effects of Israeli Army operations.
Portugal’s Foreign Ministry also announced it had summoned the Israeli ambassador to protest the attack, the report added.
