Tehran – One of the best options for traveling in the summer, considering many natural and climate possibilities, is the principal of the Firoozkooh Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts Bureau, known as Firoozkooh, Tehran province.
According to Miras Aliya (CHTN), Sharlam Sharifi said that in the light of geographical conditions, cool climate in mountainous regions, spring, precious natural resources such as rivers, orchards, lakes, dams, waterfalls and natural caves, the city of Filou Zkooh is a suitable destination, especially during warm seasons seeking residents of Tail.
He said Tange Vashi, near the city of Firoozkooh, is one of Tehran’s most important tourist destinations and hosts many visitors each year.
Savashi, or Tange Vashi, is located at a height near the village of Gelisjand, 16km north of Firoozkooh, and was a hunting ground for Fasalishah of the Kajal dynasty.
Tange Vashi is considered a great tourist location. There are ruins from the Kajar and Safavid periods.
There are other attractions in lesser known Firoozkooh, including Ahanak Lake, Namroud Dam, Burnik Cave and Lazur Village.
Sharifi continued that Firoozkooh, which has an eco-lodge, local homes, traditional accommodation and campsites, allowed tourists to enjoy a variety of peaceful, untouched and travel experiences.
While many tourists call the area a day’s destination, he said the diverse attractions and natural spaces allow the area to be converted into a destination for staying for several days.
He emphasized the need to preserve the environment and observe the region’s sustainable tourism principles.
“Given the pristine nature of the area, we ask passengers and tourists visiting Firoozkooh, particularly Tange Vashi, Harandeh Village and Khomedeh Springs, to collect trash, causing damage to the vegetation and not hindering the lighting of the fires in delicate areas.”
Finally, he said that Firoozkooh was a summer destination by the end of the month of Shahrivar. “We invite all tourists to travel responsibly to the city and enjoy its natural, cultural and historic attractions.”
