The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza announced on Wednesday that five more people had been martyred by Israeli regime forces in the past 24 hours since yesterday.
One of these martyrs was a direct target of the Israeli regime, and four others were identified after their bodies were transferred, the report said. Four people have also been injured since Tuesday.
According to the Gaza Strip Ministry of Health, the total number of martyrs since the start of the attack on October 7, 2023 has increased to 68,234, and the number of injured has increased to 170,373.
The ministry stressed that many of the victims of the attack are still under the rubble or on the streets, with difficult conditions preventing relief and civil defense forces from accessing or removing them.
The Gaza Ministry report added that since the ceasefire was declared on October 11, 2025, as many as 88 martyrs, 315 people have been injured and 436 bodies have been discovered.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health also announced that 30 unidentified bodies previously seized by the Zionist regime had been handed over, bringing the total number of bodies handed over to the regime to 195. The identities of 57 of these martyrs have so far been determined by their families.
