TEHRAN – Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Aragchi celebrates the 76th anniversary of the establishment of the National Republic, and has expanded the warm celebrations to the government and the Chinese people, celebrating Beijing’s long-term development and praises Tehran’s commitment to deepen two-way ties.
In a social media post published Thursday, Araghchi said China’s progress since 1949 shows how the nation’s commitment to independence, independence and self-reinforcement will ensure progress that attracts global attention. “As Iran’s comprehensive strategic partner and regardless of the possibility of changes in the international environment, Iran will continue to cooperate with China,” he added, expressing his confidence that bilateral cooperation will result in “fruitful outcomes.”
Furthermore, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian celebrated the 76th anniversary of the People’s Republic of China and described Asian countries as key supporters of shared prosperity at the international level.
The Iranian president also emphasized that complex and changing international and regional conditions make it increasingly essential to strengthen and expand bilateral relations.
Pezeschkian expressed optimism that mutual respect and common interest would further strengthen relations between the two countries.
The diplomatic message follows a high-level Iranian visit to China led by President Masudo Pezeshkian. Pezeshkian headed to Beijing on August 31 to attend the Shanghai Cooperation Agency (SCO) and SCO Plus Summits, bringing together leaders and senior officials from over 30 countries.
On a sideliner at the SCO summit held in Beijing on September 2, President Pezeshkian told Chinese counterparts that Iran is ready to work with China and “in any circumstances” to raise bilateral relations to the highest level. “We are ready to cooperate in implementing all provisions of the two countries’ comprehensive 25-year agreement,” he described Beijing as “a strong, determined friend and ally.”
Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, the leader of the Islamic Revolution, also praised China’s long-term pursuit of development and independence following the visit of the Iranian president. In his message at X, the leader emphasized the importance of deepening strategic cooperation with Beijing in the political, economic and security sectors, calling on both countries to expand relations that serve mutual interests.
Iranian officials pointed out that recent exchanges as part of a longer strategic trajectory between Tehran and Beijing was built on the common interests of economic cooperation, regional stability and long-term strategic engagement.
