“The third round of indirect Iranian US talk, which began around 10am, was held in separate rooms, just like the previous two rounds, with the promotional role of Omani hosts and the participation of heads of Iranian and US delegations.”
Baghhai also said that a delegation of Iranian technical experts led by the foreign minister’s international political and legal representatives, Majid Tahit Ravanchi and Kazem Galibabadi, were respectively present at the negotiating location.
He added that the Iranian technical team consists of experts in the field of sanctions, including economic bank experts, and experts with expertise in the nuclear field and interaction with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
“The Islamic Republic of Iran remains in its principled position regarding the need to end oppressive sanctions and prepare to build confidence about the peaceful nature of Iran’s nuclear program,” the spokesman added, according to the telegram channel of a spokesman for the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
“Experience requires respect for Iran’s legitimate rights and the guarantee of an effective end of sanctions under non-proliferation treaties to reach understanding (trade),” Baghhai concluded.
