BEIJING – The key presence of Chinese foreign minister Wang Yi at the BRICS conference held in Brazil emphasizes Beijing’s commitment to supporting multilateralism and advancing the interests of developing countries.
The top Chinese diplomats attended the 15th meeting of BRICS National Security Advisors held in Brasilia on April 30th.
He urged BRICS countries to strengthen unity and cooperation, demonstrate their responsibility, promote “big BRICS,” and be the most reliable force in protecting multilateralism and the legitimate rights and interests of developing countries.

The king also held a meeting in Brasilia on Wednesday with Brazilian President Louise Inacio Lula da Silva.
