Tehran – Iranian Deputy Minister Sayed Katibzadeh, a bystander of the 4th Antalya Diplomatic Forum, met with Norwegian counterpart Andreas Kravik for consultations on key regional and international developments.
The two officials highlighted the importance of sustained political and diplomatic consultations between Tehran and Oslo and exchanged views on strengthening bilateral relations.
Iran and Iraq reaffirm economic cooperation and regional coordination
Khatibzadeh began his participation in the Antalya Diplomacy Forum in a meeting with Iraqi Foreign Minister Huad Hussein.
Both sides considered the current state of Iran-Iraqi relations and emphasized the need to deepen bilateral cooperation, particularly in the economic sector.
Top of the agenda is the Shalamche and Basra Railway Project, where both countries agreed to accelerate their progress and eliminate remaining obstacles.
They also discussed regional security issues and the latest developments in indirect talks between Iran and the US held on Saturday.
Deputy FM meets with heads of the Iraqi Kurdistan region to discuss shared interests
At another important meeting at the forum, Khatibzadeh sat down with Netilvan Barzani, president of Iraq’s Kurdistan region.
The conversation focused on the path of cooperation between Iran and the Kurdish local governments and on local and international development.
The parties have expressed that they are ready to build on existing frameworks to encourage deeper collaboration.
Iran and Turkey talk about regional tensions and bilateral expansion
Iranian Deputy Minister Saeed Katibzadeh and Turkish Deputy Minister Nuh Yilmaz held substantial consultations in Antarya, highlighting the growing cooperation between Tehran and Ankara.
Khatibzadeh emphasized the importance of the Iranian Turkish High Cooperation Council and the ninth future meeting of President Erdogan’s planned visit to Tehran.
Regional development ruled Israel’s ongoing actions, particularly in Gaza, and expansionist movements in Syria.
Both sides discussed the implications of these issues and the recent indirect negotiations between Iran and the US in Oman.
Yilmaz reaffirmed Turkey’s interest in deepening ties on both sides and maintaining strong regional coordination with Iran.
Tehran and Zagreb Aye have broader cooperation in politics, culture and economy
Saeed Khatibzadeh met with Croatian Foreign Minister Grlic-Radman at the Antalya Forum.
The two officials have reviewed the latest Tehran-Zagreb relationship and highlighted the possibility of expanding cooperation across the political, economic and cultural sectors.
Khatibzadeh called for strengthening political consultations and strengthening people-to-people relations, and Croatian Foreign Minister responded proactively and expressed preparation for deeper bilateral and multilateral engagement.
