At the 119th Cabinet meeting in Tehran on Wednesday, President Pezeshikian expressed that he had no serious concerns about plots by the United States or other adversaries, and acknowledged their open hostility toward the Islamic Republic of Iran. However, he expressed serious concerns about internal divisions and the destructive behavior of certain individuals, which undermine rather than promote unity.
Mr. Pezeshkian called for collective efforts to take positive steps to bring hope to the people and made it clear that although he would address external issues, his main focus was on domestic issues.
The meeting also featured reports from various ministers, including Minister of Roads and Urban Development Farzaneh Sadegh, who shared updates on agreements concluded during his recent visit to Azerbaijan, and Minister of Agriculture, Gholamreza Nouri Geserge, who provided optimistic news on improving poultry production.
Iran’s Central Bank Governor Mohammad Reza Farzin pointed out during the meeting that industrial production is on a positive trend, indicating a recovery in key economic indicators after the slump following the 12-day war imposed by the Israeli regime.
