Tehran – Four new museums have recently been launched under the Mostazafan Foundation’s Dafineh Museum Group.
The launch ceremony took place at the Daffiné Museum complex, where Hamidreza Soleimani, CEO of Daffiné Museum, attended alongside cultural enthusiasts and officials.
The new museum, which has become part of the foundation’s expanding cultural portfolio, includes the “Milliquid Years of Art” Museum on Quiche Island, the third stage of the historic Automobile Museum, the “Art Motif” Museum and the “Art Ornament” Museum in Ramsar.
Kisch’s thousands of years of art museum
Located in a historic 900-square-meter building on Quiche Island, the “Milkind of Art” Museum is the first to reveal more than 320 valuable artifacts spanning a wide range of historical periods and artistic styles, from ancient civilizations to modern times.
Historic Auto Museum
The third phase of the historic Automobile Museum features 75 meticulously restored vintage cars. The collection highlights the evolution of the automotive industry both worldwide and within Iran, attracting great interest from automotive enthusiasts and historians.

Art Motif Museum
The “Art Motif” museum features 78 works, including paintings, ceramics and exquisite tiles. These works offer a unique blend of Iranian visual arts traditions, integrating both classical aesthetics and contemporary artistic expressions.

Art Ornament Museum in Ramsar
Located on the Ramsar Museum’s campus, the “Art Ornaments” museum features over 200 gems and decorative objects from 3500 to 500 BC.
These exhibits demonstrate the artistic skills and creativity of Iranian artisans for centuries.
Specialized Duffine Library
Alongside the museum, the Duffine Library has reopened with over 7,500 volumes of collection focusing on art, history, archaeology and related fields. The library has rare and valuable manuscripts from 130 years ago that have been restored for use by researchers and the public.
Hossein Dehghan, head of the Mostazafan Foundation, officially approved the launch of these new cultural institutions on Sunday. Since its opening, the museum has seen strong public interest, particularly in locations on Ramsar, Classic Car and Quiche Island.
Visitors will be able to enjoy two weeks of free admission, Soleimani said.
Planning for Iran’s first digital museum
Soleimani has announced plans to work with the Tehran-based AI Institute to establish Iran’s first digital museum. The digital museum, designed to provide global access to Iran’s cultural heritage, has two main sections. One is dedicated to introducing physical museum collections and new works presented through virtual reality (VR) and 3D technology, offering an immersive virtual museum experience.
Additionally, the first specialized encyclopedia-style catalogue of thousands of museum collections will be released next week, with presentation copies delivered to the foundation’s leadership.

Community participation was welcomed
Soleimani cited recent donations of ancient pottery from Yazd residents to highlight the importance of national involvement in enriching the museum’s collection.
“All contributions have been verified for reliability and are registered in the donor’s name, and the owner has the right to reclaim artifacts as needed, in accordance with Dr. Dehghan’s directive,” Soleimani said.
The Mostazafan Foundation, tasked with social services for millions of people in Iran, manages the Daffin Museum Group as part of its cultural and heritage preservation efforts. The foundation’s mission is consistent with the roots of ideological focused on oppressed (Mustazafan) and its empowerment through access to culture and history.
