In other words, Iranians are offering nearly seven times more meals than McDonald’s sells worldwide, not for profit, but for generosity.
The amount of food distributed during these gatherings in Tehran alone combines the global daily sales of major fast food chains such as KFC (12 million meals), Starbucks (14 million customers) and the subway.
1 Million Children Join Tehran’s Free Mega Amusement Park

The estimate places a number of 80,000-100,000 volunteers and grassroots organizers, over the active troops of countries such as Australia, Argentina, Canada, Denmark, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, and most countries around the world.
Iran’s 500-kilometre celebration
Iran’s national Gadir celebrations held simultaneously in a linear format in multiple cities spanning an estimated 500 km long. From cities to cities, this vast celebration forms an ongoing line of joy, faith and public participation.
To get a sense of its size, the combined stretches of the celebration are longer than the overall width of the country, such as Denmark (452 km), Norway (430 km), Chile (175 km), Switzerland (350 km), Austria (300 km), and Croatia (300 km).
