LONDON – This latest war in Gaza appears to be over. Holding one’s ground, refusing to be defeated, and moving the struggle to another stage will be the measure of victory or defeat for resistance forces.
Above all, it’s a battle of wills. Those who have the will win. This is the logic of all resistance. Material and human losses are all part of the nature of combat. They will be compensated in a stronger and better way than before. This has been proven in every battle so far, in addition to many lessons learned.
The opposite is true regarding the Israeli occupation entity. It accomplished none of the war’s objectives. It was unable to stabilize the occupation, which was its main objective. It was unable to control small areas of the Gaza Strip. Without an agreement, the hostages could not be released. We were forced to negotiate until the end.
The Resistance was a negotiator. Israel has failed to eliminate the resistance, its weapons, its organizations, military and security structures, or all its tunnels. Given the balance of military power, they should have been able to do so, but they were let down by resistance.
The Resistance succeeded in moving the fight to a wider arena. This is repeated in other forms on all fronts of the conflict. The purpose of the October 7 operation against Israel was not to liberate Palestine. This battle was not aimed at annihilating the Israeli occupying entity.
The surgery was a wonderful event. Successfully demonstrated the ability to cause a major earthquake in Israel. Even the entity’s response was not in retaliation for what happened on October 7th; its purpose was to eliminate the threat posed by the Resistance.
The objective of the Israeli occupation entity was to eliminate resistance and build a “new Middle East.” Preparations were made to attack all resistance fronts required under the plan, from war with Lebanon to attacks on Iran and Yemen.
The aim was to completely eliminate resistance. Two years later, despite the vast disparity in military strength, Israel has failed, but the resistance remains resolute and strong in its assertion of principles. Therefore, a war across the region would not bring any more results than what has already been achieved.
There is a strong belief that even after the enemy has exhausted everything, he is still far from achieving the objective of eliminating the axis of resistance. If we continue on this path, things could get worse until the West loses its interests altogether.
We have exhausted all means of invasion, but nothing has come of it.
Efforts are currently underway to turn the material losses inflicted on the resistance into political gains, as happened in Lebanon. Political movements will therefore become crowded with efforts to create a Palestinian situation outside the framework of resistance.
Here begins a new phase of the work of the Axis of Resistance. It is to transform the enormous popular capital that the resistance forces acquired during Operation Al-Aqsa Flood into political action against the Israeli occupying entity.
