Palestinian authorities in Gaza said on Friday that drug pills had been found in US dispatched flour bags in a beautiful Israeli enclave, the Anadolu Agency reported.
In a statement, the government media office in Gaza said that the prescription painkiller oxycodone had been found by Palestinians in flour bags received from US aid distribution points in Gaza.
“It is possible that these tablets were intentionally crushed or dissolved in the flour itself. This constitutes a direct attack on public health,” he warned.
The media office was entirely responsible for this “heinous crime” that was aimed at spreading addiction and destroying Palestinian social fabric from within.
“This is part of the ongoing Israeli genocide against the Palestinians,” he calls Israeli drug use “a soft weapon in the dirty war against civilians.”
