TEHRAN – Palestinian resistance forces have conducted multiple attacks and ambushings against Israeli occupation forces seeking to advance in Gaza city.
Hamas’ armed building, the Alcasam Brigade, has announced a series of operations south of the Alzaiton district of Gaza City.
These include targeting Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) Merkaba tanks and several armored personnel carriers (APCs), explosive devices and using “Yassin 105” and “TBG” shells.
Al-Qassam has released footage of IOF soldiers sniping, destroying armored vehicles destruction, and targeting infantry positions using machine guns and RPGs.
They also attacked the IOF troops who had taken shelter within the residential buildings.
According to the Al-Catham Brigade, one Merkabatank was attacked in the Al-Musala area with the “Yasin 105” Shell. Another operation involved an elaborate ambush against IOF troops in the Al Barasi region.
During the ambush, fighters of resistance used a “TBG” shell to fire the house with IOF units enhanced and fired at the snipers located inside.
Additionally, two explosive devices exploded within the control cabins of the two APCs, and the Namer APC was also a hit with the “Yassin 105” shell.
When the IOF retreated, the Alkatham Resistance fighters fired two houses, evacuating the occupying soldiers with projectiles of “tandem” and “Yasin 105” and causing casualties between the IOFs.
Previously, the Alkasam Brigade also reported targeting a Merkava 4 tank and a D9 bulldozer with a “Yasin 105” shell on Street 8 in Alzaiton south.
Palestinian resistance forces continue to carry out attacks against IOFs operating illegally in the Gaza Strip.
The Al-Quds brigade announced that in collaboration with the Abu Alimstafa brigade, they had fired a gathering of Ioff soldiers and military vehicles in the east of Gaza along with mortars.
Along with the Alcasam Brigade, they also used heavy mortar shells to target the IOF site north of Khan Younis.
The Al-QUDS Brigade, in partnership with Abu Alimstafa Brigade, released footage of the Resistance Fighters, infiltrating a mortar shell with a gathering of Ioff soldiers and vehicles permeating the east of Gaza.
A day ago, Alkasam reported that he targeted two Merkaba tanks near Abu Hamid Roundabout in central Khan Yunis using improvised explosive devices and two “Yasin 105” shells.
Al Nassar Sarah Al Din’s brigade reported that they had fired the units and vehicles of North Khan Eunice, equipped with a 60mm mortar shell.
Palestinian political and resisting factions held meetings in Cairo to discuss the latest political and earthly developments. They stressed that their number one priority would be to stop the genocide of the ongoing Israeli occupation regime and lift the blockade of Gaza.
Following the conference, the public and Islamic factions highlighted the urgent need for an immediate and comprehensive ceasefire and the safe and unhindered entry of humanitarian and relief aid to Gaza.
The faction also warned against the ongoing illegal Israeli settlement expansion and Jewishization plans in the occupation of the West Bank, stating that facing these threats in both the West Bank and Gaza would require the creation of true national unity.
They acknowledged the efforts of international mediators to stop aggression and praised the global move to support Palestinians.
Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation regime is moving forward with US-backed genocide in Gaza, marked by widespread destruction, hunger and aggravated humanitarian situation. As of the latest figures released by Gaza’s Ministry of Health, the death toll has exceeded 61,827, with at least 155,275 injuries since October 2023.
