“As of yesterday, our estimates show that over 120,000 people have already been evacuated in a few days,” Celevko said.
“The closure of the intersection also contributes to extremely dire circumstances on the ground as we continue to use up supplies.”
After the new Israeli attack on Gaza, aid agencies find it “very difficult” to operate on the strip, Chelevko said.
“These evacuation orders have an impact on people on the ground as well as the facilities we already have, and they are operating,” she said.
“We need the international community to step up, have a back and support us with this effort, because if things don’t turn around quickly, the dirt we have on collective humanity will never go away.”
