When Iraq holds the Arab League summit, Arsdani said it would provide $40 million to rebuild Gaza and Lebanon.
According to Al Jazeera, Iraq supports the creation of an “Arab Fund to Support Reconstruction Efforts” following the crisis in the region, Al Sudani told the summit.
Iraq will “donate $20 million to rebuild Gaza and $20 million to rebuild Lebanon,” he said.
“The vision to end the crisis and conflict in the region (Iraq) comes from the achievement of the Palestinians’ full right to a free and dignified life on their land,” he said.
Al Sudani said, “This genocide has reached an unparalleled level of ugability in all conflicts in history.”
Refusing to “forced evacuation of Palestinians,” he called for an end to the “Gaza genocide, attacks on the West Bank, attacks on occupied areas.”
“We kept calling for serious and responsible Arab actions to save Gaza and revitalize UNRWA,” he added.
