TEHRAN – Following the recent assassination of Iran’s top three military commanders in the Israeli attack, Ayatollah Seiyed Ali Khamenei, leader of the Islamic Revolution, has appointed his successor in an official statute issued on the eve of Eid al-Gadir. The appointment also included promotion to the rank of Major General.
The assassination of General Mohammad Hossein Bagheri led Ayatollah Khamenei to appointed Major General Seyed Abdulrahim Musavi as chief of staff in the army.
In his orders, the leader described the Bagheri martists as honorable martists at the hands of a “malicious Zionist regime” and praised Musabi’s qualifications and previous service. He called for greater defense and security preparedness for Iran, including within the Basij army, and emphasized the need for a quick and effective response to the threat to the Islamic Republic through “revolutionary action.”
He also prayed for the promotion of the martian spiritual class and for his companionship with saints, especially Imam Ali (peace be upon him).
General Shadmani has been appointed commander of the central headquarters of Katam Al Ambiya
Major General Ali Shadmani has been appointed commander of the Katam Al-Ambya Central Headquarters following the assassination of General Goramari Rashid. The leaders were proud and praised General Rashid’s martians after death as the proven leadership and experience of the honorable Shadmani.
Ayatollah Khamenei urged the new commanders to strengthen strategic planning, threat response and coordination with public staff, particularly when assessing military combat readiness.
He also prayed for the promotion of his union with the rank of the martyr commander and the image of God.
General Parkpur was appointed commander of the IRGC.
After General Hossein Salami’s martialism, Ayatollah Khamenei appointed Major General Mohammad Pakpur as the new commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
In the official order, the leader praised Pakpur’s capabilities and emphasized the need for the overall preparation, mental strength and continued development of the IRGC. He emphasized the importance of fostering both expertise and religious commitment in leadership.
Like other decrees, the leader prayed for the promotion of Salami’s soul and for his relationship with Imam Ali and other saints, and for the success of Pakpur and his colleagues.
