TEHRAN – A special exhibition showing the artistic talents of Iranian women began in Geneva on Monday, coinciding with the 58th session of the UN Human Rights Council.
According to Mehr News Agency, citing the Human Rights Headquarters, the exhibition will run until March 24th (corresponding to Farvardin 1 in the Persian calendar).
The exhibition is organized by a research institute to protect women’s rights, in collaboration with Iranian women and families’ vice president, Iran’s permanent mission in Geneva, and with other non-governmental organizations.
The main purpose of this initiative is to promote the artistic achievements of Iranian women and to enhance international cultural exchanges. The organizers aim to provide a platform for Iranian female artists to gain visibility in the global artistic and cultural forum.
