TEHRAN – Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu shocked the world by saying he supports the vision of a “big Israel.”
There are serious questions as to why Netanyahu is openly speaking about such evil plans.
There is a credible reason to say that Netanyahu is very encouraging and is on a “historical and spiritual mission” to expand Israeli borders.
These unsettling remarks come as Israeli forces occupy the West Bank, Gaza Strip and parts of southern Syria after Israeli forces fought the expulsion of Hezbollah and Assad regimes in 2024.
Israeli extremists have signed peace treaties with them, even on the lands of countries such as Jordan and Egypt.
Netanyahu feels encouraged as his army has committed all the imaginable crimes against the Palestinians in Gaza for about two years without facing punishment, including economic sanctions.
Now, these Western countries, which have allowed Israel to commit horrible crimes in Gaza by providing the most sophisticated weapons and political support, have to prepare for new military adventures by Israel.
Opponents of his genocide in the West are accused of anti-Semitism and Hamas sympathizers. The United States has imposed sanctions against the International Criminal Court (ICC) for issuing a warrant for arrest against Netanyahu and his so-called Defence Minister Joab Gallant for Gaza’s war crimes and crimes.
US Senator Tom Cotton went too far and took military action against the ICC. He sparked controversial US law known as the “The Hague Aggression Act.” Writing on X on November 21, 2024, the Republican senator declared:
In the West, students also faced violence, halts, or exile to protest the war in the Gaza War. The Trump administration illegally cut $2.6 billion with Harvard research funding. The administration has also restricted universities from registering new foreign students. In Germany, students were named “terrorist sympathizers.”
These moves make Netanyahu feel free with political support, and even imagine him having a “spiritual mission” to broaden Israeli boundaries.
Countries where Israel has turned to greed must feel that other countries are being forced to do something serious to stop Israel from embarking on its vicious goals.
The international community, especially the United Nations, and especially the Security Council, must force Netanyahu to make his vicious remarks.
It’s not the first time that a larger Israeli idea has been cultivated. Last January, Israel’s Foreign Ministry released a map of allegations with captions that produce Israel’s history dating back thousands of years, one of its electronic platforms, according to the Middle East Monitor.
Also filmed last year in a documentary, Finance Minister Bezarel Smotrich advocated for the expansion of Israeli borders, including Damascus. He suggested that Israel would gradually grow to include not only Palestinian territory but parts of Jordan, Lebanon, Egypt, Syria, Iraq and Saudi Arabia.
“It says that the future of Jerusalem is to expand into Damascus,” he says, evoking the “great Israel” ideology.
Such comments come while Israel, including the Prime Minister, said they wanted to live in peace with their neighbors, and the United States is desperately urging Saudi Arabia to join the Abraham agreement and normalize ties with Israel.
These dangerous statements show that Israel does not seek peace with its neighbors. Rather, the maliciously oriented official feels that he has a divine mission to grab the lands of neighbors and non-dependents, such as Saudi Arabia and Iraq. This list may be expanded to include other countries.
Netanyahu’s comments are very similar to what he wanted to win all Muslim states and form a “promised” Islamic caliphate (Daesh).
