Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Aragut, visiting Cairo, met with Egyptian Badr Abdelatti on Monday.
“We are ready to assure all aspects of the peaceful nature of the nuclear program,” the top Iranian negotiator in a nuclear talks with the US said in a joint reporter on Monday.
Aragut criticized the West’s silence over the Israeli regime’s nuclear warhead weapons, noting that “the West is turning a blind eye to Israel’s nuclear threat.”
“The NPT should be implemented by all countries,” he emphasized, adding that “Israel’s threat to Israel’s peaceful nuclear program is a crime.”
He added, “If the demand is not realistic and if the other side is trying to take nuclear rights from Iran, there will be no nuclear deal.”
He called on the UN nuclear watchdog to resist Western pressures over Iran’s nuclear program.
