An anti-Israel hacker group called “Cyber Isnad Front” claimed responsibility for a cyberattack against Maya, a company said to be affiliated with the Israeli Ministry of Defense.
The group said in a statement that it successfully penetrated the company’s systems and obtained valuable data related to the design and development of major defense projects, including the Iron Beam laser air defense system, the Hermes 900 multipurpose unmanned vehicle, Spike missiles, and other advanced military technologies currently under development or upgrades.
The group claims Maya works as a research and development contractor for Israel’s major defense industries, including Elbit Systems and Rafael Advanced Defense Systems, and serves as the technology and industrial arm of the “Zionist regime’s” Ministry of Defense.
In a three-minute video posted on their Telegram channel, the hackers displayed purported internal surveillance camera footage and images purported to show various stages of military equipment production.
Cyber Isnaad Front also announced that it plans to release additional images and documents from the company in the near future.
