Amma Hakim, leader of Iraq’s National Wisdom Movement, met with Iranian Ambassador Mohammad Qasem al-Sadek to discuss regional development and bilateral relations and to highlight the need for regional peace and stability.
During the meeting, Hakim argued that current development in West Asia should not be underestimated or exaggerated.
He noted that the stability of Iraq achieved across different dimensions has a constructive effect on regional stability. Today, Iraq plays an important role in the region and is actively involved with all stakeholders to promote peace and stability.
Leaders of the National Wisdom Movement also emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation between Tehran and Baghdad and the use of shared interests among neighbouring countries.
Additionally, he highlighted the need for stability in Syria and the importance of including all segments of the Syrian population in the political decision-making process, ensuring protection for all groups.
Finally, Hakim condemned the resumption of attacks by the Israeli regimes in Gaza and Lebanon, underscoring the urgent need for international action to thwart the occupation regime and stop these attacks.
