Tehran – Hamas kills and wounds more Israeli occupation forces as the regime expands its genocide against civilians.
The armed wings of Hamas, the Alcasam brigade, have announced a new deadly operation against the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) in northern Gaza.
The Al-Kassam Brigade revealed that “after returning from the frontline, our fighters confirmed that they had lured Zionist engineering units into the mouth of the pre-tuned tunnel.”
“As soon as the troops reached the location, the tunnel exploded, killing and wounding a professional soldier east of the Altafa district, east of Gaza city.”
Palestinian resistance recently carried out a complex ambush against the IOF, releasing footage of the fatal manipulation on social media platforms.
Israeli researcher Azi Ashken wrote in the Hebrew newspaper Maarib, “Contrary to the initial assessment, Hamas still retains combat power made up of numerous armed fighter jets, some of which are organized into brigades and battalions.”
“The Hamas operation against the tunnel is like emptying the ocean with a small spoon just in the northern Gaza Strip. You’ll find an opening for the tunnel.”
Palestinian civil defense has reported multiple civilian casualties following a series of Israeli airstrikes in various parts of the Gaza Strip.
Civil defense spokesman Mahmoud Bassador told AFP “On Tuesday, we launched several intense airstrikes at the dawn targeting Gaza City, Beit Rahia, Beit Hannon and Khan Yuns.”
He added that seven members of the same family were killed when Israeli fighters bombed a neighbor’s home west of Gaza city.
The strike was also reported on the Altaffa district east of Gaza and the road west of the city.
Reports from the ground show that the IOF frequently targeted the heart of Khan Yunis in southern Gaza and fired air strikes in areas east of the city.
At least 11 people were burned in Al Sabla’s neighborhood after a fire involved a home that was hit by multiple airstrikes.
Another attack on the family home of Khan Eunice killed more civilians, including children.
Additional casualties have been reported after Israeli airstrikes struck a tent that displaced people in Al-Katiba district of Khan Yuns.
Along with the Air Force’s attack, the IOF carried out a fierce demolition operation east of Gaza, but artillery fire continued in various parts of the Gaza Strip.
Israeli fighters carried out particularly violent airstrikes and demolition operations east of Gaza, injuring several Palestinians.
Precision strikes also targeted remaining rescue devices, such as bulldozers and heavy equipment, in various parts of the strip. According to the United Nations agency, these tools are important to rescue victims trapped under the tile rub from previous strikes.
IOF has begun demolition of another round of homes in destructive areas east of Gaza and Rafa.
On Tuesday, the Gaza Health Ministry announced that more than 66 people have been killed and more than 120 have been injured within the past 48 hours.
Preliminary figures show that since March 18, when the Israeli regime violated the ceasefire agreement, the death toll has reached 1,890, with at least 4,950 people injured.
Since the beginning of October 2023, the total number of deaths in Palestine has risen to 51,266, with 116,991 injured, according to health ministry data.
