Tehran – Hamas has warned the Israeli regime that its occupying forces will not regain living prisoners of war from the besieged areas.
The armed wings of Hamas, the Alcasam brigade, have issued warnings to the Israeli occupation regime about the siege of the location of Gaza, where Israeli prisoners of war Methane Zenghekar is being held.
In a statement released on social media platform Telegram, Al-Kasam spokesman Abu Ubaida declared that Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) “cannot bring prisoners of war” and held Israeli forces fully accountable if they were killed during an attempted rescue squad.
At the same time, Palestinian resistance factions will continue to carry out operations against Israeli occupation regimes and its invasion forces on multiple fronts in the Gaza Strip.
The Al-Kud Brigade, the military division of the Islamic Jihad Movement, also announced that it has launched a mortar barrage with a concentration of IOF forces and vehicles located northeast of Khan Eunice.
They also reported using booby traps and reverse-engineered explosive devices to ambush Israeli forces that have settled inside a home in the Tel Alza Atal region east of the Jabaria refugee camp.
On Sunday, the IOF confirmed the deaths of two more soldiers, saying it succumbed to wounds that persisted during a previous clash with Palestinian fighters.
Additionally, the IOF reported that another soldier had evacuated from Gaza due to the injury.
The Mujahideen Brigade said their fighters targeted Israeli forces east of Shujaiya near Gaza city with several mortar shells, achieving a direct hit.
They pointed out that the IOF has admitted to the injury of one of the soldiers in the attack.
Meanwhile, the Abu Alimstafa Brigade, the armed wing of the popular front of the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), announced that its fighter planes targeted a gathering of IOF forces north of Beitrahia in northern Gaza with two 107mm rockets.
The brigade described the attack as part of its continued response to genocide against the Palestinians and shared footage of the surgery via telegram channels.
Under Israeli regime’s media censorship restrictions on the war in Gaza, the Hebrew news outlet also reported another “security incident” by Khan Eunice.
Israeli media has described the week as the most deadly for the IOF since December 2024.
