Palestine Children’s Day, celebrated annually on April 5, has been marked this year as it has killed around 19,000 children in Gaza since October 2023, including 274 newborns and 876 infants under a year.
In Gaza, more than 1,100 children have been accused, and “los of 39,000 have been orphaned by the loss of one or both parents, and thousands have faced the threat of hunger, malnutrition and disease,” Hamas said.
“Fascist occupation continues to systematically target children, use them as human shields, and steal education in Gaza.”
Hamas also warned that resistance groups will never forget the administration’s “crime against our children.”
The international community’s silence reiterated, “This is a shameful stain on human rights and humanitarian organisations… promoting occupation to expand crime against innocent Palestinian children.”
The Resistance Group urged “the United Nations and governments to criminalize occupation and activate its inclusion in the “shaming list” of perpetrators of crimes against children.”
