Israeli forces marked the third assassination of senior Hamas officials this week amid a sudden air strike in Gaza killing Hamas spokesman Abdel Latif al-Kanoor.
Al Canoeah was killed along with eight other Palestinians early Thursday when Israeli fighter Jets bombed his tent shelter in Jabaria, northern Gaza, according to Al Aksa Television and She Hab News.
The attack came hours after Israel began massive fires across the enclave.
The assassination comes just two days after Hamas Political Bureau members Ismail Balkham and Sarah Al Baldawir were killed in separate strikes targeting hospitals and tent compounds in Gaza.
Israeli forces also shoved up their attacks on Beit Rahia and Rafa overnight as artillery strikes were reported in southern Gaza. More than 30 Palestinian deaths have been recorded since Wednesday.
Hamas has accused Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of “deliberate escalation” of attacks on Israel, a torpedo at the January ceasefire and gaining support from far-right figures like Itamar Ben Gwyr.
