Beirut – Lebanese and Palestinian factions in Lebanon are anticipating the impact of Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas’s planning for Beirut in Lebanon, and the situation of displaced people, particularly since the publication of Palestinian resistance weapons.
These factions are deeply concerned that anti-resistance Lebanese teams will undoubtedly misuse Abbas’s anti-resistance position.
Following a statement issued by Lebanon’s Supreme Defence Council, Lebanese authorities escalated their attacks on Hamas under the pretext of maintaining “Lebanon national security.”
The move is an integral part of pressure from embassies in Washington and Riyadh, without taking into account the unique situation in Lebanon.
President Joseph Own has argued that Lebanon supports the Palestinian cause, but in his own words, “it is a heavy price and we cannot continue to pay it.”
Lebanese Foreign Minister Yousef Raj reportedly closed his office in Hamas in Lebanon and imposes strict measures in line with disarming Lebanon’s Palestinian resistance.
Ahead of the start of the tourist season in Lebanon, observers have warned about the impact of a clash between Lebanese security forces and Hamas.
Sources close to Hamas told the Tehran Times they understand the major US-led Israeli plot against them and all Lebanon’s resistance, warning that anti-resistance teams are promoting forced resettlement of Lebanese displaced people.
The blatant concessions of the Palestinian authorities are consistent with what surrounds the de facto HTS-led regime in Damascus, namely Palestinian resistance, and prevents them from engaging in any activity, political or even social.
In Lebanon and Syria, Washington is trying to establish governing bodies overseen by Palestinian authorities under the pretext of regulating the conditions for Palestinians who have been evacuated in camps.
The American plan aims to completely disarm Lebanon’s Palestinian resistance, change the current situation in the Palestinian camp, and force displaced Palestinians to integrate into the Lebanese population.
An informed Palestinian source confirmed to the Tehran Times that Palestinian authorities had sought to promote violent conflict between Hamas prior to Abbas’ visit, by taking advantage of the recent suspicious launch of rockets to northern occupation Palestine by Hamas members prior to Abbas’ visit on May 21.
However, Hamas knew about the plot and worked perfectly with the Lebanese army to hand over members who had been misunderstood in launching the rocket.
Furthermore, Hamas emphasized that if it does not approve of their actions and detainees are not exposed to arbitrary voluntary or politicized conditions, they are ready to hand over the wanted person to the official security agency.
