Tehran – Palestinian resistance fact in Gaza says Hamas’ response to the US proposal reflects a responsible national stance and came after thorough consultations.
They explain that this response is the result of extensive debate aimed at reaching an agreement consistent with the interests of the Palestinian people, ensuring that the ongoing war of extinction will be put to an end. The faction urged all parties to take necessary steps to move forward.
“Our people deserve to be crowned with the consequences of their resilience and heroism fulfilling their nation’s desire for freedom, independence and the end of occupation,” the resistance movement said.
They emphasized the need for Palestinian authority to quickly fulfill its duties and duties, including the urgent need to convene national conferences.
In a reply to the US offer, Hamas announced an agreement to release all Israeli prisoners, both alive and deceased, under the conditions of the appropriate field of prisoner exchange.
Hamas also discussed the details, confirming that he was ready to enter negotiations immediately via the mediator. These include the prisoner exchange process, disarmament and occupation.
Furthermore, the movement has repeatedly made its willingness to hand over the control of the Gaza Strip, supported by Arab and Islamic countries, to an independent Palestinian technocrat who has agreed nationwide, based on the Palestinian consensus.
However, all Palestinian resistance facts emphasized that Hamas’ responsible stance, taken on behalf of the broader Palestinian political forces, was a message that “it has come to be the time for the occupation (the government) to leave our land.”
Trump’s offer to end Gaza’s genocide is framed as a step towards peace, but in reality there is a risk of entrenching the very conditions that make peace impossible.
True peace cannot come from political deals far from the tile ble of Gaza. It can only appear when Israeli invasions and decades of occupation end. It’s not just a pause of the cycle of violence without addressing the underlying cause.
Palestinian factions accepted the US proposal, not from faith in Washington’s intentions. Washington’s intentions, many times, have proven ominous, to alleviate the unbearable suffering of those who endure starvation, artillery and displacement amidst the genocide.
In the time leading up to Hamas’ announcement, Israeli occupation regimes shocked Gaza artillery, assaulting camps, and intensified attempts to kill civilians and force acceptance through pressure. Such actions reveal the hollowness of the claims for “peace” built on the basis of coercion and collective punishment.
“In the last 24 hours, 66 martyrs and 265 injuries have been recorded at hospitals in the Gaza Strip,” Gaza’s health ministry said on Saturday. Israeli bombing continued in enclaves, killing more civilians.
Meanwhile, Palestinian Resistance Operations have thwarted the attempts of the occupation regime to achieve officially stated war goals through military means over the past two years.
The Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper revealed on Saturday that “as part of the Gideon Vehicles 2 operation, Israeli forces have yet to reach Hamas bases and targets in Gaza city.”
If there is a true end to this war of genocide, it must begin by ending Israel’s occupation, dismantling the system of invasion, and recognizing Palestinian rights to freedom and dignity.
“We must not accept foreign governments in the Gaza Strip and form an independent national institution for this challenge,” said Hamas leader Osama Hamdan.
“There is a Palestinian national agreement in which Palestinian national bodies relating to Palestinian authority control the Gaza Strip,” Hamdan pointed out, adding, “an attempt to remove Hamas from the Palestinian political process will not be successful.”
Israel Hayom also cited Israeli political sources, saying that the “stop attack” in the Gaza Strip was not a ceasefire or the beginning of a retreat.
This is why a ceasefire imposed by imposed powers and diplomacy and a complete withdrawal of Israel only delays the next violence. Real peace is not determined from Washington or Tel Aviv. Born on the day the occupation ends.
Hamas did not accept Trump’s offer. The movement has responded positively through mediators as initiatives have been placed on the table over the past two years.
Hamas has balanced the long-term peace of mind for those suffering unimaginable pain, along with daily resistance operations that have caused great losses to Israeli occupation forces and put great pressure on the Netanyahu government.
The Palestinian response is filled with positive international responses.
UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres expressed his satisfaction with Hamas’ response to the proposal and praised Qatar and Egypt’s diplomatic efforts for mediation.
Yemen’s Ansalala said Hamas’ response was responsible, realistic, implementable, and reflects the movement and sect’s desire to stop attacks and save civilian lives.
The answer explained that it was “open to solutions and very flexible,” but a new escalation in Gaza warns that it will complete the genocide and bring the Palestinians to starve even more. This is primarily responsible for falling into the US and Israeli regimes.
Egypt’s Foreign Ministry said Hamas’ response “reflects all the Palestinian factions’ desire to save Palestinian lives and protect civilians.”
Egypt has affirmed its decision to work with Arab and Islamic countries and the international community to make its best efforts to ensure a permanent ceasefire in Gaza and launch a comprehensive political process that ensures regional stability.
An Egyptian source said preparations for a comprehensive Palestinian dialogue is underway to discuss Gaza’s future in light of recent developments and Hamas’ reaction to President Trump’s ceasefire proposal.
Qatar’s Foreign Ministry has announced that Doha will begin coordination between Egypt and the United States and continue consultations aimed at ending the war of genocide.
Qatar welcomed Hamas’ response to the US plan and said it was ready to continue its mediation efforts to achieve a fair and durable end to the conflict.
Jordan’s Foreign Ministry said Hamas’ response to President Trump’s proposal was “an important step towards ending the war and its devastating consequences.”
Turkish President Recept Tayyip Erdogan emphasized that Israel’s occupation must immediately halt all attacks and commit to the plan without delay.
Erdogan added that urgent measures are needed to provide humanitarian assistance to Gaza and stop “a shameful scene that deeply hurts the conscience of the genocide and the world,” adding that the outcome of the ongoing consultations must support the Palestinians.
Other global leaders also welcomed Hamas’ agreement on Trump’s plan and viewed it as an important step.
More importantly, it is Israel’s occupation that has consistently blocked peace efforts by refusing to withdraw from Palestinian lands and mercilessly targeting civilians, including women and children.
Given that destruction was unleashed in Gaza, it is very bleak that the occupying regime is truly involved in the peace process.
