Tehran – Focusing on the valage, known in Persian as Gol et Gabzaban, the herb and plant festival was held on Thursday at Heeran Tourist Village, located in the Astara border city in northwestern Jiran.
Many medicinal plants, including nettle, wild oregano, valage, angelica, thyme, mint, yarrow, chamomile, marshmallows, raspberries and dozens of other species, have been identified and used by people in plains and mountainous areas. Natural plants with the most widely used and most widely used habitats are considered part of the vegetation identity of the city of Astara.
Speaking about the bystanders of the event, Astara’s central governor, Seiyed Said Mirkolbani, told Isna that Astara is a region full of tourist attractions in ecotourism and cultural fields.
Visiting domestic and foreign tourists to Astara, he said Highlan Heights boasts dozens of herb plants that should be introduced to tourists visiting Astara.
He also said the festival aims to introduce the region’s potential cultural capabilities and climate diversity and take steps to promote tourism in Astara.
Mirqorbani added that the event is intended to open the Borage Plant production, export and packaging industries site and fill tourists’ leisure time.
Belt harvesting begins in early May in the mountain village of Astara.
Additionally, a trade fair for handicrafts displaying local kilims and hand-woven products, souvenirs and local cuisine was featured on the festival’s bystanders.
