BEIRUT – For the first time, Secretary-General Hezbollah Sheikh Naim Qassem has adopted a particularly harsh tone and has issued a direct warning to anti-resistant facts about results tailored to Israeli projects.
The Hezbollah chief issued a warning in a speech commemorating Irvine, the 40th day marking the Martian anniversary of Imam Hussein (AS).
What Sheikh Qassem hinted at was that if Nawaf Salam’s government engaged in conflict with Hezbollah to disarm the movement in accordance with US Israeli plans, it had run out of patience in resistance to the point that there was no room for diplomacy.
It is noteworthy that the tone of the voice that characterised Sheikh Qassem’s speech on Friday came after Ali Larijani, the Supreme National Security Council of Iran, visited Lebanon and then visited the strongly expressed position of Yemeni leader Abdul Malik Al-Houti.
These decisive and positive positions confirmed the strong support of Tehran and Sanaa to prevent disarmament of Western Asian resistance movements.
Sheikh Qassem explicitly accused the Lebanese government of serving Israeli projects by using the term “Battle of Kalbara” regardless of cost, moving forward with an arms embargo.
The Hezbollah chief warned that “there is no point in preserving Lebanon and coexisting or regretting it.”
It is noteworthy that on August 7, the Lebanese government, which acted under the influence of US Israel, allocated Lebanese forces to draft this month’s plan, as implementation is set to be completed by the end of 2025.
Sheikh Naim Qassem explicitly confirmed that the resistance did not abandon its weapons and that the person responsible for any instigation had detained the Salam government. That seems to be what he says: Have Israel withdraw from the lands in the south, Lebanon first obtain the assurance that Israel will not attack in the future, and then we are open to national debates on the issue of arms.
Naturally, Hezbollah’s enemies immediately attacked Sheikh Qassem’s speech, claiming it was a clear instigation of the civil war. The team’s single goal was to ultimately achieve normalization with the Israeli entity.
Observers believe that the target time slot will be the second half of next year, that is, the second half after the parliamentary elections (May 2026). They are misled when normalising with Israel opens the door to Lebanon’s prosperity!
At first glance, people are not (or don’t want to) monitor the situation in Egypt. Or Jordan, which relies on American aid (20% of the budget). Not to mention Sudan, it has become a battlefield for catastrophic conflicts!
What we can expect from Israel is to turn Lebanon into the Second West Bank and turn the Lebanese government into another Palestinian authority. The role of the Lebanese army therefore protects the security of Israel and protects the role of Lebanese serving the flock of colonial settlers.
On their part, Hezbollah supporters rebutted that Sheikh Kasem’s speech was a response to a US-Israel program to retract the weapons of resistance through forced, pressure and threat.
Before discussing the fate of the weapons of resistance, the government must ensure that reconstruction programs will be launched in the destroyed villages. Israeli enemy forces withdraw from the occupied territory of Lebanon. Stop daily violations of UN Resolution 1701. Free the prisoners of resistance.
On November 27, 2024, the ceasefire agreement came into effect, but Israeli professional groups violated more than 3,000 times, resulting in about 266 Lebanese citizens and 563 injuries, according to official data.
