Hezbollah Secretary General Sheikh Naim Qassem delivered the address aired on Wednesday for Resistance Commander Saeed Huad Shokl’s Martyr’s Anniversary.
According to Al-Manar, Sheikh Qassem said at the beginning of his speech, “Martyr Shokr was one of the first military commanders to establish Hezbollah Navy.”
He greeted the soul of Esmail Honey, former Hamas chief, who accepted Martyr Schokr in Tehran for hours after Martyr Shokr was assassinated.
“The United States is destroying Lebanon to help its Zionist enemies,” the Hezbollah leader said elsewhere.
“The United States is involved in supporting Israel’s ceasefire violations and will stir up agitation between Lebanon’s political parties,” Qassem added.
“The US wants to implement its own Great Middle East scheme using Lebanon as a tool,” he said.
Sheikh Qassem described the arms of the resistance as a source of pride for the Lebanese state, stressing that “no one should ask for resistance or seek resistance to surrender within the country.”
“Lebanon’s resistance has proven to be one of the pillars of national building,” the Hezbollah leader further argued.
