Secretary-General of Hezbollah Naim Qassem said today that his party will not accept the timeline for the transfer of arms, as long as the “Israel attack” on Lebanon continues. This is while the Council of Ministers discusses the issue of state monopolying weapons.
Distributed comments in a video message to the commemoration ceremony organized by the party for Iranian leaders, Qassem said “the proposed plan to be implemented under the shadow of the Israeli attack is unacceptable to us.”
He also called on the nation to “draw a plan to stand up against pressure and threats and provide protection,” rather than “detaching its capabilities and power’s resistance.”
He also highlighted that Hezbollah had not signed a new agreement in a year of Hezbollah’s conflict, referring to the terms of the ceasefire agreement that the Lebanese and Israeli sides took place in a US-mediated debate last November.
He warned that “If Israel launches another war with Lebanon, the missile will rain on it.”
