In a recent interview with local Iranian media released on Wednesday, Iran’s National Security Council (SNSC) Ali Larijani emphasized that Lebanon’s resistance remains militarily strong and is facing a breach of a ceasefire for the time being.
“If Hezbollah is not taking action now, that’s because he doesn’t want to violate his promises with the Zionist regime in Lebanon’s ceasefire. Otherwise he has the power to change courses (of the event).”
He praised Hezbollah’s new Secretary General and said that Sheikh Naim Qassem is not an unstable man, as he has been with the Hezbollah leader for many years.
“The new Director-General of Hezbollah traced the path built by martian Nasrara, having the same mindset, a dynamic mind, analysing the situation correctly and making decisions on geopolitical change,” he continued.
Elsewhere, he answered a question about Syria after the collapse of Assad’s government, saying, “The situation in Syria will not remain the same. There are Muslim people in Syria, and they will not tolerate the status quo.”
He called on Islamic countries to stop the plot drawn out by the US for the region by maintaining their unity.
