According to AFP, the White House warned Lebanon that Israel could shoot down two Iranian flights.
The administration accused Iran of using civilian aircraft to smuggle cash into Hezbollah without providing evidence to support its claims.

Lebanese forces clashed with protesters on Saturday. Security forces threw tear gas at protesters who sat in on the airport road.
They were angry at the government for enforcing the ban under the influence of Tel Aviv and Washington.
Unifil Convoy from Beirut was also attacked. Israel and the United States have held pro-hazbollah protesters accountable. However, the resistance campaign condemned the attack on international peacekeeping forces.
Hezbollah said in a statement on Sunday that it “confirms its targeting (UNIFIL) and its solid denial of harm to public and private property.”
The Resistance Group criticized the Army for clashes with protesters that urge the Lebanese government to “take responsibility for protecting peaceful protesters.”

The Israeli army sent its troops to southern Lebanon on October 1st. However, the administration was forced to sign a ceasefire with Hezbollah in late November after failing to meet its military targets.
Before the ceasefire took place, Israel had killed nearly 4,000 people in Lebanon.
Moreover, Israel repeatedly violated ceasefires, killing civilians and army soldiers.
However, the Lebanese army was unable to take strict measures to retaliate against Israeli crimes.
Under the ceasefire agreement, Israel must withdraw its troops from Lebanon, but the regime is spinning a story to justify staying in southern Lebanon.
Israel invaded Lebanon in June 1982 and occupied part of the country until ousted by Hezbollah in 2000.
In 2006, Israel also launched a full-scale military attack on Lebanon. However, Hezbollah humiliated the regime and forced the army to retreat in disgrace.
Israel failed to defeat Hezbollah militarily. The administration is now causing unrest in Lebanon, calling for people and the government to oppose each other.
Israel is also trying to block a funeral scheduled for the martyr Nasrara this month.
The funeral is scheduled to take place in Beirut on February 23rd.
Israel is concerned that a significant attendance of Lebanese individuals at the ceremony will highlight the military retreat of the Tel Aviv regime, along with increased support for the resistance movement.
